Bar: 9 pm – 2 am
Performances: 10 pm

At Club Liaison Anna Rimmel and Lukas Gritzner raise their glasses. With Here is too... here is and..., they toast to desire, collectivity, and love. A poetic cheers to what it feels like to step forth into the world.

Alex Franz Zehetbauer puts us to the classic setting of a piano bar: a singer at the piano and his song repertoire punctuate the gathering of guests. Sometimes rousing, sometimes bizarre, the performance plays with an intimacy that is both strange and familiar.

Samt Sirene, aka Natascha Muhic, is known for rarely heard treasures in her record collection and concludes the night with one of her special DJ sets.

Anna Rimmel is an artist living in Vienna. She studies sculpture at the Academy of Fine Arts Vienna. At the centre of her work is the construction of desire and how we construct meaning in the world around us in an age of informational and sensorial overload.
Focusing on such processes through a phenomenology of contemporary media forms, she is interested in how the fluctuating materialities of images and languages can narrate our experience of the world and the systems that structure and organise it. Her work has been presented at Kunsthalle Bratislava, mumok Vienna, BACC Bangkok, Trauma Berlin, and international film festivals.

Lukas Gritzner (born 1995 in Vienna) is a multimedia artist who studied site- specific art at the University of Applied Arts Vienna. He works on the intersection of sculpture, sound and media installation, often creating immersive environments that can be used as a stage for performance and happenings.  His artistic practice is informed by relational aesthetics, queer subcultures, their spaces and characteristics that constitute them.Selected Exhibitions include “Nominated…Vordemberge-Gildewart Grant 2022” at mumok Vienna and “QUEER TALKS. Series of talks on artistic research and studies in the field of queer history(s) and subjectivity(ies)” at Queer Museum Vienna. Recently he performed Live-Sets at Belvedere 21 and Kwia Berlin.

Alex Franz Zehetbauer (born 1990 in Brooklyn) is a sonic choreographer, performance artist, and singer. Critics have called him: an angel, a swamp monster, and a red-eyed demon. He studied at the Experimental Theater Wing at NYU Tisch School of the Arts and the International Theater Workshop in Amsterdam. Alex has been awarded the BKA Startstipendium für Musik und Darstellende Kunst (2018) and the danceWEB Scholarship (2019). Recent works include: Brunnentroll (2021) a concert performance in public fountains supported by KÖR —Kunst im Öffentlichen Raum; wet dreaming at 52Hz (2019), AyH (2021/2023), and hearing the wild heart (2022) which were co-produced by brut Wien. As of 2022 Alex is part of Freischwimmen, an international production platform for performance and theater.
